Could this issue happen because of the current state of the extension used to handle the game? From the logs it looks like Vortex never receives the url from firefox, I'm pretty sure this is a configuration problem in Firefox.
Firefox allows overriding the system default of which application handles a protocol, if you ever did that e. It should be saying "Use Vortex default ". Our developers work hard to ensure that your downloads are being routed to the server with the best connection but there are times where these limitations that are outside of our control mean that we cannot provide you a fast download speed.
In these cases, we may ask you to consult with your Internet Service Provider ISP to see if they can improve the way they route your traffic to our servers. If you are getting a consistently limited speed which is lower than the maximum for your membership tier, this is not being enforced by us and is either a connection problem or a limit from your ISP. I would click the option to download through Vortex and the window that pops up with the following text would show: "Your download should automatically begin within a few seconds.

I've tried to download several mods through this and it did the same message on the nexus site that it did for NMM, however the downloads never happen, i even click the its not downloading so force download, still doesnt do it Reported by: Link I click the link and set them to open through vortex then nothing happens.
